This page always serves the latest successful build from dev and flashes it directly to compatible devices using esp-web-tools.

This beta is based on the latest changes from dev and may include experimental or incomplete updates.

How it works

  1. Connect the ESP32 via USB.
  2. Use a Chromium-based browser such as Chrome or Edge (Web Serial support required).
  3. Click "Connect" and select the correct serial device in the browser dialog.
  4. Click "Install TallyLight" and confirm the installation.
  5. After flashing connect the device to your network and wait until the LEDs stop blinking.
  6. Once the network is up, the web UI is available at http://tally-light-<serial-number>.local/.
  7. If you do not know the serial number yet, click "Connect" and open "Logs & console". Then run serial or status.
  8. To change it, run serial set <value>.
  9. If your network does not support mDNS the device is still reachable via its IP address.
  10. To view the current IP address run network.
  11. Run help to view all available commands.
